KING OF PRUSSIA, PA, November, 1996 -- PTS Learning Systems, innovators in customizable courseware on disk, announced the release of CustomDOC Composer, the next-generation authoring tool designed to help companies quickly and efficiently write training courseware for their custom applications and proprietary software.

"CustomDOC Composer is a valuable tool for any company that uses custom or proprietary software and needs to train employees on the use of that software," said Michael Levinson, CEO of PTS Learning Systems. "CustomDOC Composer allows a company to write higher structured training materials for standard or custom applications."

CustomDOC Composer creates content used by CustomDOC 3.1, the most recent version of PTS Learning Systems' industry-leading courseware compiler. The synergy of these two products results on a significant time savings for companies by eliminating the need to manually format the content, graphics and tables and, by automatically generating a table of contents and index.

"CustomDOC Composer allows customers who like the look and feel of their existing PTS courseware to write their own training at the "component level" simply by entering their outline and training content", said Mary Jane Goodman, Product Manager at PTS Learning Systems.
